Robert Ames Conducts Nai Barghouti with Metropole Orkest

Robert Ames conducted Palestinian singer, composer and flautist Nai Barghouti in a major collaboration between Metropole Orkest and the Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest. Touring across the Netherlands, the programme brought together Arabic classics, Nai's original compositions and jazz, showcasing her distinctive NaiStrumentation vocal technique through new orchestral arrangements. The project formed part of an ongoing artistic partnership between the two orchestras, celebrating the meeting of Arabic musical traditions and contemporary orchestral performance.
