Polygon

Polygon toured internationally throughout 2024, presenting Galya Bisengalieva's immersive live performance for violin, electronics and field recordings. Inspired by the history of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site in Kazakhstan, the work reflects Bisengalieva's distinctive compositional voice, weaving together environmental history, experimental sound and contemporary classical performance in venues and festivals across Europe and Central Asia.
