Passages at Brighton Festival

Passages, the landmark collaboration between Philip Glass and Ravi Shankar, returned to the stage at Brighton Festival with Anoushka Shankar, Britten Sinfonia and conductor Robert Ames. Reviving one of the defining cross-cultural works of the late twentieth century, the performance reunited Indian classical music and American minimalism in a rare live presentation curated as part of Anoushka Shankar's tenure as Guest Director of the festival.
