Robert Ames Conducts the Hallé

Robert Ames made his Hallé debut conducting the orchestra's Philip Glass Festival, leading the UK premiere of Ifé Songs with Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and activist Angélique Kidjo. The programme also featured Philip Glass's Days and Nights in Rocinha and Symphony No. 11, celebrating the work of one of the most influential composers of the last fifty years.
