Byrd Song at Festival de la Cité

Shards presented Byrd Song at Switzerland's Festival de la Cité, reimagining the music of Renaissance composer William Byrd through vocals, synthesisers and percussion. Led by composer, singer and producer Kieran Brunt, the London-based vocal collective performed in Lausanne Cathedral, bringing centuries-old choral music into dialogue with contemporary electronic and experimental practice.
